what is samfind?
samfind is built for a single simple purpose: to make the websites you use handy.

you are on the web nearly every day. you visit many of the same websites constantly. we make them handy to visit, handy to search and handy to organize.

how are we different and better?
there are other ways to get where you want to go on the web. browsers all have ways to let you organize the websites you use and some websites are devoted to organizing other websites ... but these systems limit how you can interact with the web. they are not particularly suited for ease of use as a homepage and do not allow interactions with the website you want to visit before you get there. you are limited to simply being directed to a page on the web. period.

you could just search google ... but why should you restrict yourself to one search provider as your homepage? go anywhere. search anything. be free. and do it the right way, your way. samfind lets you interact with the websites you use as if every one of them is your homepage. you can go to them directly, you can search them, organize them as you please and access them through our homepage or our widgets & gadgets.

money, advertising and rent
although eating and paying rent is a priority of ours, we believe the web is overrun by advertising. we strive to maintain the simplicity and uncluttered look of samfind. we are sort-of anti-advertising. samfind was created to make the web easier to use, not to make you have to contend with more advertising.

photography and art
we display art on our homepage to give it some color. but we are selective and we do not want the art to get in the way of our reason for being. if you would like us to consider your photography or art for display, please feel free to send your photo to us. please read the legal documentation before you send us your photography.
